How we charge
Everything you sell is yours,
with two exceptions.
The rule, in full
Everything you sell is yours, with two exceptions: (1) a new person, who was not in your community, whom Maria converts, whether they came from your ads, from Google or from Santua; (2) a dormant person, more than a year without a programme, or who never bought, whom Maria writes to on her own initiative and who replies. Your active students, your repeat purchases, your newsletter, your launches, whoever writes to you on their own, and whoever pays without talking to Maria: 0%. The commission is your plan's percentage (Core 5%, Growth 4%; two points more when Santua runs your ads) on every euro that comes in through Santua. If you refund through Stripe, the commission comes back. We never invoice you for it: it is deducted at the moment of the charge.
When the commission is zero
These are the cases where you owe nothing, on every plan.
- 0 %A student already active in your community
- 0 %A repeat purchase by someone who already studied with you
- 0 %Someone who replies to your own newsletter or launch
- 0 %Someone who wrote to you by herself
- 0 %Someone who paid without ever talking to Maria
- 0 %Any membership under €50 a month, on every plan
Worked examples
Illustrative figures, not a quote for your programme.
A €2,000 training. A new person finds you through Santua, Maria answers her, books the call and chases the deposit. She enrolls. On Core that is 5% + VAT, so €100 + VAT, taken as the charge is made.
The same €2,000 training, but the student already did a workshop with you last year and wrote to you herself. That is 0%. She was yours before Santua met her.
A dormant contact, two years without a programme, whom Maria writes to on her own initiative. She replies and enrolls at €2,000. On Growth that is 4% + VAT, so €80 + VAT.
Refunds and cancellations
If you refund a student through Stripe, the commission is reversed in proportion. If a payment plan is cancelled part way, the fee is trued up against what was actually collected. You are never invoiced for commission: it is deducted at the moment of each charge, on your own Stripe account.
